Lab

Astrolab is a modern Fabrication Laboratory with equipment & facilities that can assist with prototyping and production of a commercial project. Our makerspace equipment is a combination of digital manufacturing technology, electronics and hand tools enables the creation of small and large-scale products that cover a variety of applications, ranging from product design to architecture.

Woodworking Workshop

Equipped with a full range of carpentry tools for the manipulation of large and small-scale blocks and surfaces, our woodworking workshop is available for Lab members to use with the assistance of our qualified personnel.

Co-working Spaces

Our co-working spaces are closely related to, and support, the Lab. Through Lab membership, tenants of our co-working spaces are offered a special combination of services including courses, tutoring and access to equipment.

Meeting Room

With a capacity of up to 25 people, our meeting room (surrounded by our scenic roof garden) is ideal for all types of business meetings and presentations.

Event Spaces

Astrolab boasts spaces ideal for hosting events, both indoors (capacity 50 people) and outdoors (capacity 120 people). We welcome lectures, hackathons, start-up and accelerator boot camps, conferences, exhibitions and any other event to do with technology and open access.

Storage

Aside from the makerspace equipment, members benefit from a storage room for materials as well as lockers for personal items.

Roof Garden

Our shared roof garden is a place to unwind, relax and enjoy some fresh air. We've planted herbs, fruits and vegetables; if your salad is missing something then you're welcome to take your pick!

Kitchen

All Astrolab members have access to our common kitchen for food storage and preparation. See you at lunch!
