Odyssea, in collaboration with Lidl Hellas, is proud to announce the launch of the “A Meal of Joy” social kitchen initiative at the Odyssea Youth Center in Thessaloniki. This action is designed to provide nutritious meals to our homeless fellow citizens and families in need, while fostering a culture of conscious food consumption and sustainability.

Lidl Hellas covers the operating costs of the initiative and provides fresh, high-quality ingredients. These ingredients are used to prepare nutritious meals, which are then offered to homeless individuals and families in need in Thessaloniki.

The action is also a step towards reducing food waste, as it strictly adheres to a zero-waste policy.

A unique aspect of “A Meal of Joy” is the active involvement of young people in Thessaloniki. Guided by experienced chefs, these young volunteers gain valuable knowledge and skills in meal preparation and delivery, making a meaningful impact in their community.
