SKILLS 4 ALL
SKILLS 4 ALL, the initiative implemented within the framework of Piraeus Equall programme in a strategic partnership with Odyssea, is addressed to vulnerable young people and focuses on the creation of sustainable career choices through vocational training and their connection with the labour market.
This holistic program creates value not only for participants but also for society and the economy, by addressing critical labour shortages in key industries.
This is the third year that SKILLS 4 ALL is being implemented by Odyssea, once again focusing on the tourism and construction sectors with high demand for skilled professionals. The programme is structured around two core pillars:
A) vocational training
B) connection with the labour market.
Beneficiaries
SKILLS 4 ALL aims to equip more than 100 vulnerable young people with the right skills and connect them with the labour market.
The young people must either have completed secondary education or be 17 years old and permanently resident in the country.
Conditions for participation
The SKILLS 4 ALL programme is open to young people of the following categories:
- Unemployed and/or long-term unemployed young people
- Young people with low income
- Illiterate young people
- Heads of single-parent families
- Migrants and/or Refugees and/or Asylum Seekers
- People with disabilities
Objectives
The programme aims to:
- Empower them by boosting their confidence and self-awareness, enabling them to discover their potential.
- Guide them toward a career path that aligns with their personality and aspirations.
- Provide hands-on learning opportunities that open doors to professional prospects for a sustainable future.
- Promote the inclusion of vulnerable social groups in the workforce.
- Address labor shortages in the tourism and construction sectors.
- Build and maintain strategic partnerships with industry leaders and employers to align training programs with current market needs.
