Problem
Vulnerable young people often face significant barriers to entering the labour market due to limited access to vocational training and employment opportunities. At the same time, key sectors such as tourism and construction are experiencing increasing shortages of skilled professionals, creating a gap between labour market demand and the available workforce.
Solution
The programme’s third cycle, running throughout 2025, focuses on the tourism and construction sectors, where demand for skilled professionals continues to grow. It is built around two core pillars: vocational training, and employment placement and labour market integration. The programme is open to unemployed and long-term unemployed young people, those on low incomes, heads of single-parent families, migrants, refugees and asylum seekers, and people with disabilities, who have either completed secondary education or are at least 17 years old and permanently resident in Greece. Beyond technical skills, it works to empower participants, boosting confidence and self-awareness, guiding them toward career paths aligned with their personality and aspirations, and providing hands-on learning that opens real professional prospects. Strategic partnerships with industry leaders and employers keep the training aligned with current market needs.
