Empowering Vulnerable Women
About
The problem – female unemployment rate is 50% greater than the male one. Unemployed women face a lack of financial and personal independence, poor integration, and under-representation in local and national communities.
In Greece, gender inequalities in digital education start appearing even in lower secondary education, while in upper secondary education, 85% of female students never or almost never engage in coding/programming.
The most vulnerable groups (e.g., youth with disabilities, and female refugees) face significantly higher unemployment rates and can be almost entirely excluded from employment.

Fostering Inclusive Communities
Our work goes beyond employment to build stronger, more inclusive communities. By improving representation and supporting social integration, especially for those with limited access to work and services, we help people thrive as active citizens.
Diversity & Inclusion in the Workplace
We promote workplace inclusion by connecting underrepresented groups with forward-thinking employers. In sectors like tech, where only 4% of women are employed, our programs help shift the balance through training and advocacy.
Promoting Economic Independence
We provide women and youth with access to vocational training—like woodworking, plumbing, and electrics—so they can gain in-demand skills and break economic dependence. Especially critical for groups with over 30% unemployment rates.
Empowering Women and Disabled Youth
We support women and youth with disabilities—who face up to 30% unemployment—through digital skills, soft skills, and career coaching. Our goal is to build confidence, reduce barriers, and create real job opportunities in inclusive sectors.
