Refugee Women Academy

About

Refugee Women Academy, implemented under Piraeus’ Equall programme in strategic partnership with Odyssea, supports refugee and asylum-seeking women through vocational training in tourism professions. Originally launched in the second half of 2023, the programme equips participants with the skills needed to enter or re-enter the job market while fostering personal empowerment and a sense of belonging.

As part of its long-term impact, Refugee Women Academy continues in 2025, further strengthening opportunities for women in the tourism sector. The initiative is part of Piraeus’ Corporate Responsibility programme Equall in close cooperation with UNHCR, the UN Refugee Agency in Greece.
