Transforming VET for Disadvantaged Youth Empowerment and Employment is a European cooperation project that addresses one of today’s most pressing challenges: youth unemployment and the mismatch between young people’s skills and labour market needs. Across Europe, disadvantaged young people—such as migrants, refugees, Roma, and NEETs—face major barriers to education and employment, while employers struggle to find skilled workers in essential trades like carpentry, plumbing, and electrical installations. VET4YE responds to this gap by developing accredited, practice-oriented vocational courses in these high-demand sectors, including innovative digital tools, and work-based experience, where young people and VET trainers can apply skills in real settings and connect with employers.
