NEBYC
About The Project
New European Bauhaus for Youth Centers (NEBYC) is an Erasmus+ Cooperation Partnership (KA220-YOU) involving five European organisations. Its goal is to innovate the role of youth centers within local communities by applying the principles of the New European Bauhaus: Inclusion, Beauty, Sustainability. The project turns these values into concrete actions, offering youth centers the tools, skills, and resources to become places for participation, culture, and ecological transition.
Key Topics
- A structured capacity-building programme for youth workers and youth center coordinators covering NEB principles and approaches.
- Youth centers will take part in a co-creation process of training, and they will take part in a Hackathon.
- At least 15 youth center projects will receive financial support and professional mentoring to turn their ideas into concrete interventions within their spaces.
- A European network of NEB-aligned youth centers for long-term sustainability and exchange will be established.
Project Outcomes
- Strengthen the skills and role of youth workers, improving the quality and recognition of youth work.
- Transform youth centers into sustainable and innovative spaces, aligned with NEB criteria.
- Foster youth participation, co-creation, and community engagement.
- Support the implementation of innovative projects developed by youth centers.
