About The Project
The HERS project (Inclusive Approaches to Safeguarding Intangible Cultural Heritage) is a Creative Europe Cooperation Project (CREA-CULT-2024-COOP-1) aimed at empowering migrant women by preserving and celebrating their intangible cultural heritage (ICH). Through skills development, intercultural exchange, and digital storytelling, HERS fosters social inclusion, gender equality, and cultural diversity. The project enables migrant women to co-create, document, and showcase their traditions in collaboration with local artists and cultural institutions. It also establishes a digital community archive to preserve these cultural expressions for future generations.
