Bridging Voices
Reframing Migration Narratives through Gamification and Digital Storytelling
Bridging Voices is an Erasmus+ Cooperation Partnership project aiming to rethink and reframe the narrative surrounding migration in Europe through inclusive education, gamification, and digital storytelling methodologies.
The project promotes mutual understanding between migrants and EU citizens by creating participatory learning environments where personal experiences, critical reflection, and collaborative dialogue become tools for inclusion and social cohesion. Through innovative educational approaches, Bridging Voices seeks to challenge stereotypes, combat disinformation, and encourage more inclusive and empathetic communities across Europe.
Main objectives
- Promote inclusive and non-discriminatory narratives around migration
- Foster critical thinking regarding media narratives and migration-related disinformation
- Empower migrants to actively share their own stories and experiences
- Strengthening the competences of adult educators in social inclusion methodologies
- Develop innovative educational tools using gamification and digital storytelling
- Encourage dialogue and collaboration between migrants and local communities
Expected Results
• An accessible multilingual online learning platform
• Open Educational Resources (OER) library on migration and inclusion
• A practical toolkit on gamification and inclusive education
• Digital storytelling methodology for educators and facilitators
• A collection of short digital stories promoting authentic migration narratives
• Increased awareness and community engagement around diversity and inclusion
Main activities
- Development of the Bridging Voices Online Platform with educational modules and Open Educational Resources (OERs)
- Creation of a gamified learning methodology addressing migration, inclusion, and diversity
- Implementation of “Gamifying Inclusion” workshops in partner countries
- Development of digital storytelling methodologies and short multimedia stories based on migrants’ biographies
- Creation of project dissemination channels including website, social media, and YouTube channel
- Organization of local multiplier events titled “Bridging Voices: Welcome to my Story”

The project brings together four organizations from Spain, Italy, Germany, and Greece, combining expertise in adult education, migrant inclusion, digital learning, and social innovation:

Odyssea's role
Odyssea contributes its extensive experience in migrant inclusion, employability, digital education, and community engagement. Within the project, Odyssea leads activities related to desk research, quality assurance, digital storytelling methodologies, and the development and finalization of the project’s multimedia stories. Odyssea also supports the creation of inclusive learning environments that empower vulnerable communities through creativity, participation, and storytelling.
