MedNet4Youth
The MedNet4YA project (Mediterranean Network for the Support of Youth Drug Addictions and Social Reintegration) is an Erasmus+ KA210-YOU initiative focused on strengthening cooperation among Mediterranean countries to combat youth drug addiction and improve social reintegration services. The project develops innovative strategies for addiction prevention, treatment, and harm reduction, while also promoting education and employment opportunities for young people recovering from substance use disorders. Through transnational exchanges, training, and awareness campaigns, MedNet4YA aims to enhance the capacity of youth workers, educators, and social workers in tackling addiction issues, particularly in migratory contexts. A key outcome of the project is the creation of a Mediterranean manual on youth addiction treatment and social reintegration, offering policy recommendations and best practices for European-wide implementation.
